if you took the photograph in a mirror inside how did you not get flash from the mirror? or maybe you took a photo of somebody else holding a camera like that?

If you want to FLY in the SKY like a bird...
An SLR camera gives you a lot of controll. Including over the flash. You can simply not use the flash. Heck, you can do it with any camera.
